Inspection snapshot
In the May 2024 ISI report, the prep school met the independent school standards, with inspectors highlighting a broad curriculum, good progress and strong safeguarding. The same inspection found that the separately registered early-years childcare provision, The Garden, did not consistently meet all childcare requirements.
Assessment approach
Kingswood says it tracks progress through annual national standardised tests in English (PTE), mathematics (PTM) and general ability (CATs), plus a termly NGRT reading test and half-termly internal English and maths assessments.
